Jane App Review 2026: Best for Multi-Disciplinary Health Centers
Jane App has seen massive growth in the US market over the last year. Originally dominant in Canada, its 2026 US insurance module has finally brought it on par with SimplePractice and TherapyNotes. But what makes it special?
The "Charting" system in Jane is, quite simply, the best we have ever used. Most EHRs give you a rigid box for notes. Jane allows for "clinical templates" that can be shared across a community. You can pull in sketches, photos, and tag specific items for follow-up. For a practice that includes massage therapists, dieticians, and psychologists, Jane is the only platform that speaks everyone's language.
The Payment Revolution
Jane Payments (their integrated processor) is also more competitive in 2026 than SimplePractice's Stripe integration. They offer better rates for high-volume practices and more flexible "card on file" policies that reduce "no-show" revenue loss.
The downside? The setup is complex. Jane offers so much customization that it can be overwhelming for a solo therapist who just wants to "turn it on and go." But for the practice owner who wants to build a custom-branded empire, Jane is the infrastructure of choice.
